F.A.Q.

Q:. Do your engines include the core?
A: No. The prices posted are the cost of freight, machine shop operations, assembly labor, parts, and warranty, only.  It is Mandatory to supply the core for your project.  This drastically reduces issues in process of our engine rebuilds.  Here is our core supplier list.

Q: Do you ship Internationally?
A: No.  Drastically reduces risk of fraud.

Q: What types of payment to you accept?
A: We accept a few different payment options, depending on which type of product purchasing.
We do not accept online orders for custom cylinder heads, short blocks, and crate engines.

1. Click HERE for our full payment page.
2. We do not accept Visa/Mastecard/American Express/Discover
3. We do not accept Paypal.
4. We mainly accept Wire Transfers, Western Union, Money Orders, Certified Bank Checks, and Cash.

Q: What is your warranty on Custom Engines?
A: We offer a 3 Month Limited Warranty. It is an exchange / repair warranty on all workmanship
at Synergy Engines LLC. If there is an issue, we will cover shipping cost, and repair
of the project. This warranty does not include removal labor of the project, either cylinder head,
short block, or crate engine. Click HEREfor the full warranty page.

Q: How do I buy a custom project?
A: First, explore the website, and read the FAQ so you have a decent idea about how the engine will turn around.  You can contact us via email, and we can start planning your build.  Send your information via email to SynergyEngines@Gmail.com; including Phone Number, YMM of vehicle, Budget for the project, Performance Options, and Shipping Address.  We will then have a good idea of how to handle your project. We will then email you an estimate, and can give an estimated turn around time. We can pickup your project as soon as it is securely on a pallet. If you do not have a core, we can check what is available on the market, and add it to the price of the build.

Q: How long does it take to build a custom engine?
A: It depends, but we like to aim for 4-6 weeks. This gives us plenty of time to order parts, machine
engine blocks and heads, line up paperwork for the build, and assemble the engine. Crating and
shipping prep usually take 1 extra business day when completed. We include all documents from
the parts ordered with your build, along with a detailed estimate and build sheet. Things that can
extend a project include porting, cylinder head repair, custom parts (Pistons), sleeveing, and custom
torque plates. Other than that, 6 weeks is the usual turn around time, assuming you send in a core
and pay at least half at the sale.

Q: Can I pay in multiple payments?
A: Yes. The most standard way build large custom projects is to break them up into 3 payments. The next payment is made within the following business days for ordering custom parts. The second payment usually covers up to half
of the project. We then can order parts, and machine the block and head. The third payment
is usually made two weeks before the project is due.

Q: I have a hole in my block, what do I do?
A:  Find a used block, and THEN call us if you want the whole crate engine project put together.  We will not help arrange the purchase of a core for your project.  Do not contact us looking for a core, we will not respond to your email.

Q: Do you offer financing?
A: No.

Q: Do You Dyno Tune Your Engines? (UPDATED!)
A: Yes we can, for an additional charge.  Engine Dyno Services are not included, but recommended.   We now offer a engine break in package, along with a Pro Tuner package, in which we schedule an outside tuning specialist for your project. This is how the dyno process works with these style of engines: we would need the wire harness, ECU, Turbocharger, Intercooler, BOV, and all other supporting parts assembled for the dyno. We can do this for a price with our engine dyno, or you can use a chassis dyno once engine is installed.  We do not offer chassis dyno services.

Q: Do you recast / remold blocks?
A: No, we do not mold new blocks. We start with good used block/head "cores" and have them cleaned, Magnefluxed, shot peened, re-hone cylinders, resurface the deck, etc.; and use these methods to rebuild the engine. We do not mold new blocks. This is what is included in the price of our engines, and why we need your core engine for the rebuild.

Q:  Cams and Porting Optional?

A:  All engines will come with factory cams, unless upgraded.  All engines will come with factory ports, unless upgraded.
