All of our engine projects get Torque Plating when we hone the cylinders.  This greatly increases the roundness of the cylinder bores, by 

Line Honing

Line Honing is available for the type of blocks that need line honing.   If a block needs to be line honed, it can change the location of the crankshaft.  This makes line honing a "Per Application" bases, and should not be included in a "All Inclusive" package like we try to offer.   Sometimes Yes, for instance with installing ARP Main Studs with extra pressure on the main caps.   But not every single build.    Blocks are measured at inspection, and customers will be notified the condition of their core then.   This is why it is important to have send us a high quality core for your built on a project like this.  We avoid the risk of you receiving a core exchange, which have had gremlins from "its" past.   This is also why we like to build your engine you send in for your specific project.  If your core had main bore issues, it may not be the best one to send in for a high performance project.
